We met in Worcester, Massachusetts, on a dating app - who doesn’t these days? After going out briefly, we lost touch for about a year before Meg saw Francis (but Francis did not see Meg) at a baseball game. Less than a week after that, we connected again for coffee, then a dinner date, and the rest is history. We lovingly call reconnecting for coffee “our second first-date”, which was on June 23rd, 2023.

We got engaged on December 26th, 2024, at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum during their holiday lights event. It was the perfect proposal and even though Meg knew it was coming eventually, the moment was a total, magical surprise!

We live together, with our cat, Chandler, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Meg’s family lives in Wisconsin and Francis’ family, originally from New Hampshire, now live in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We are excited to celebrate the start of a beautiful marriage with a magical wedding in Appleton, Wisconsin, on Friday, October 23rd, 2026.
