High Cliff State Park

If the weather is nice, there are lots of trails and hikes for all skill levels at High Cliff State Park. In addition to the trails, there are lime kiln ruins, a 12-foot statue of Winnebago Tribe Chief Red Bird, and many spots that overlook Wisconsin’s largest lake, Lake Winnebago.

Building for Kids Children’s Museum

Walkable - Just one block away from our wedding venue! This children’s museum has lots of exhibits for young kids including a doll hospital, science lab, construction zone, and human body exhibit with a slide that looks like a human heart, which Meg remembers visiting as a child!

The History Museum at the Castle

Walkable - six blocks away from our wedding venue! This is a more traditional museum that celebrates Wisconsin’s history, including mysterious “Appleton local”, Harry Houdini. Exhibits include Prehistoric Wisconsin, featuring Stan, the Tyrannosaurus rex, and AKA Houdini where visitors can learn about and perform some of his most famous illusions.

Funset Boulevard

Arcade games, laser tag, carousel, and large indoor playground for kiddos! Hollywood themed pizza restaurant and shares a building with Marcus Cinema movie theater.

EAA Museum

About a 30 minute drive away, in Oshkosh, is the EAA Aviation Museum. See historic and experimental aircrafts and warbirds!

Lambeau Field

About a 30 minute drive away, in Green Bay, visit the home of the Green Bay Packers, Lambeau Field! Take a stadium tour, visit the enormous Packer pro shop, and Packer hall of fame. Go Pack Go!
